I didn't think i was being secretive about what I want.  The only thing I was secretive about was the open bow that I almost settled for.

Stacey that Daytona is beautiful but a little out of my budget.  I think I want something a little more mild in the motor department initially.  I really want it more for ride & looks than performance.  I've said it for a while I'd be content with a Daytona or clone that would do 75 with my 425 HP Pontiac motor in it.....  for now anyway.  I would also be happy to take a turn key boat and sell what I have.  Something will shake out eventually.  Just keep my in mind if any of you stumble across something.
Hey Matt I will keep my eyes open for ya. If you need someone to transport I'm off for the summer.

You need to sell your boat and get that one Chad. You have an LS1 for it sitting in your garage.

Nice boat but I'm not interested.  I just don't like the big flat deck and the pencil thin sponsons.  I much prefer the deck to have some kind of styling detail and I like the flared sponsons of the Daytona.

I missed out on this one.  Guy closed a deal on it yesterday. Original gel and BBC.

Bad thing is there doesn't seem to be many Daytonas in Texas or surrounding areas. Most are on the West Coast or way up North.

Nice boat, I was under the impression you were looking for turn-key?

As an added bonus, this one you don't have to name, with all the thought that went into the current name, you'd just hate to change it.... :cheesy:
