A nice (Not show quality but nice) Daytona jet or similar with a BBC for ~10k should be very achievable. I'm not looking for a prefect show quality boat. I don't want junk I have to do a bunch of work to either. It does not need to be a proven race boat with a bunch of bottom work. I'm not looking to go 100 MPH. It does not have to have a bunch of motor work already done. The right boat does not even have to have a motor as long as it has everything there to put it back together. I don't want to spend a bunch of time buying parts to piece something together. I don't want a boat that needs the interior redone. I'm not looking to spend 20K on a complete boat. I'm not looking to sink 20K into a boat by the time the work is done. I prefer original gel to a painted or re-gelled boat. I'm not saying I would not take a proven race boat with a lot of bottom work and a 900 HP big block. I just am not willing to pay 20K for it.
Something will turn up.

Thanks Kenny. I did see that one. I have one more iron in the fire. I'm not going to make any decisions this week. I was pretty interested in that Mojave initially. Interesting it is on ebay now. Wonder if it will sell. I know he removed a few parts. The diverter and exhaust are no longer included.
