I hear ya.  I know they will not bring much just wondering where to start.  I don't have room for 3 boats and it does not make sense to keep something I can't be comfortable using.

Hate to hear you sellin the rigs, but makin a change is understandeable. Hard for me to say Matt, hangin a price tag on the boats without bein around them or seein them in person.

I'll put it this way... Based on what I have seen of the Rebel, if I saw it for sale somewhere I would expect to see a price of anywhere between 4 to 6 grand. Boat seems to be solid & well kept & lake-ready, with a solid trailer under it. The Pontiac engine may or may not be a selling point, just depending on who you get comin to look at it.

The Ambassador, I'd have to refresh my memory on your build thread on it, but based on what I remember, could be anywhere from 3 to 5 grand possibly?

Just basing my figures on what I see while browsing Craigslist, ebay, etc..

Thanks Kenny.  That is pretty close to what I was thinking.  I figured ~$4K for the Rebel and ~$3K for the Ambassador.

I think the Rebel mite surprise you. It's a nice sled for sure. The ambassador probably that range. I'd post the Rebel everywhere, some of those west coasties will pay for a cool sled like that! think.gif But you are keeping it real man! Good luck at any rate if you decide to sell. :smile16:

Those Pickles are proving hard to find for one that I like and in my budget.  Selling both of the boats I have will help the budget a little.  There have been a couple of TX's come up but I just don't like the look of that big square deck between the sponsons.  If I get a pickle it will be one with some kind of detail on the deck like the Liberator, Daytona or Cheyenne.  One thing is for sure, what ever I get will ride better than the Rebel.

It may be a long shot, but at one time there was a 21' Liberator(pretty sure it was) for sale down south. I saw it at Jetfest year before last with a "for sale" sign on it. That boat was bad to tha bone, metalflake burgundy with a big blown Chevy in it. Called Ass Buster III, lol. May get up with David/Horsepower Junkie, he may know the story on it these days...

Pic of it from that day...

LOL.  This is kinda funny.  I have 2 boats everyone loves but nobody really wants.  I try to figure out what they are worth with a little help from my buds at THB.  Now everyone is trying to find/guess what I might get.  Keep the appraisals, finds and guesses coming.  Maybe something will shake out.  :smile30:
