Hey, guys and gals, this is off topic, I know, but I'm now the dealer for the Ariel Atom 3, and my new personal/company demonstrator car just came in! So I spent my weekend looking, inspecting, waxing and Armor-alling, and now I have 34 miles on it, and I love it!! :smile16:

Click on this picture for a slideshow!

I LOVE this car!!

I love those Ariel Atoms. Looks like it'd be a blast to drive...and 160 on the speedo  :smile16:  Is that yellow knob on the left a brake proportioning valve?

It is a real HOOT! to drive, on the street, but especially on the track! Yes, it is the brake bias adjuster. 1.2 gee or so under braking. And 1.6- 1.7 gee in corners, with slicks mounted.

We freshened my all-aluminum 540 BBC and have run several dyno pulls to get it dialed in and safe on the tuneup.  Over 1000HP!

I'm stoked!  Now if we could get some rain!

Haven't y'all gotten some pretty decent rain up that way lately?  I'm sure it wasn't enough to fill up any lakes but, I was under the impression a few lakes were starting to come back up a little.  think.gif

BTW, Congrats on the engine.  I've thought real hard on the matter and, I think I'll be building a blown 540 for my Kurtis in the distant future.  All the 540s I've seen have run there asses off!

Our best rain, at least here at the house, was over four inches, a couple months ago or so, but most of all that other rain we saw on the weather radar went just barely east or west of us-- like we have a dome, or force field, or something to divert it around us.  I didn't check Arrowhead just prior to that good rain we had, but I bet the end of the ramp was dry then.  And I mean the bottom end.

I can't help but wonder if God is getting even with us for letting Obama get elected! think.gif
