This does happen alot in the winter time , and I agree that we will get past it and next summer we will all be back on the water and having a blast . This is a boating site and there is just not that much to do with our boats this time of year , so we all get a little cabin fever .
Not to add fuel to the fire , but I do think that we should have a section where we can have feedback for deals that are done with not only other members , but also venfors that we buy from . Over on LS1tech we have trader ratings on our profiles , just like an eBay feedback rating . On some other sites they have a seller feedback section where people can post thier experiences and suggestions for sellers . I find it really dissapointing that we have members that choose to take advantage members here , not only myself but other deals that I have heard about where people got screwed over . I also know that we have alot of members that will always go the extra mile to make sure that they are doing right by anyone that they are dealing with on the site . So why not have somewhere that we can warn each other of the bad experiences and commend the people who are working so hard to make sure that they are doing the right thing ? We have a huge membership of people who for the most part deserve to be complimented for thier honesty . And I believe that the few bad members we have will stop taking advantage of other members when they are held accountable by the rest of the group . Just my .02 , but I would like to see something done to help keep everyone honest in thier dealings with other members here .
I am sure that this subject will be locked without a response to this request , but I am just putting this out there in case someone thinks that it might be worth discussion .

Without getting involved with the shit show on the side, I can agree that editing and deleting posts is BS.
I believe if something is so deserving of being deleted or edited then the mod that does so should take the time to PM the poster. And the only time a post should be edited or deleted is IF it breaks the rules of the site, not because a mod doesn't agree with it.
If that were the case then the frequent offenders of breaking rules can have their access restricted.

Last few times I've tried to use it I get an error message that reads "The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: id_search" Posted this down in the Forum Discussion section a couple of weeks ago but only two people have seen it buried down there.
One thing hasn't changed... If you want something seen by the most eyes put it in the North or South section.
