THB is awesome. I see no downhill slide of this website at all. My lack of posting this winter has absolutely nothing to do with anything going on here. I'm running my refrigerator shop alone and have my hands full. Haven't done squat with any of my boats, till today. Gotta go post to the Junk Yard Dog thread I guess. Maria's coming home tonight so I'll have a little more boat time.

Also, let me add that while traffic may have slowed down here a bit, the THB Facebook page traffic has increased a hundred fold in the last year. Probably because a lot of peeps have Facebook on the their phones. I think I have just as many posts there as I do here today.

Everything was pretty smooth here till that whole section called Hot Boats Down South on Performance boats was started. It could be perceived that the only purpose it serves is to undermine this website, and members here can see right through the transparency of it. Some might even consider it to be a slap in the face. We tried this once with the NTJBC forum, and it didn't work. I now see why it rubbed some long time members here the wrong way. Every event we go to here in Texas can thank it's attendance to THB. If you think it doesn't then promote your event only the PB and see how many people show up. PB is California site and gives a rats a$$ about us here in Texas.

LONG LIVE THB AND THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS!!

Nothing wrong with that, can help people get or give perspective... my questions to you were legit, not sure what you may be reading into it or why you are dodging them. I'm thinking what ever issues you are talking about may be something you have either blown out of proportion or there is another agenda at hand. Wasn't sure the reason for the HBDS thing over on PB & don't really care, if people want options, more power to 'em. I can only wonder how well or long that can go on, PB is only gonna give folks so much room to operate. Grass isn't always greener on the other side. :wink: But if you are gonna come on here & say yer bailing over something that appears to be so trivial, it just leads people to believe that there is more to the story than what you are lettin' on. Either way, your business... good luck to ya in whatever it is you're looking to accomplish. :cool:

I think it's all Stupied $h1t...... That could be handled in a better way my .02 and I don't see no Major  issue with this site r how it's run, I do like the idea of why you delete are edit post though and... a duke it out thread, so if you wanna get involved you can if you don't... Don't read, but the way this was done you kind involve all of THB! If it ain't broke don't fix it, some don't like all the mama jama.... Some do.. There r sites for all of those folks. I don't like face book some do. Bla Bla Bla..... Life goes on let's get back to hot women and bad a$$ boats, shake hands, have make up sex and a cig and get a beer! We don't live forever and good friends don't come easy! Just my .02

Guys...I dont post much anymore. I have a 2 year old and have retired from the military and am in the real world... Does not mean much as you can see I still log on from time to time.

Any damn way. I was in and still am part of Las Vegas Hot Boats when I was staitioned there in Vegas. Great group of guys. Well I decided to host the annual regatta. I got TONS of input both good and bad. There were multiple people saying that this sucked, that sucked, blah blah blah blah. I did not care. I know I did what I did for the good of the regatta and the club. The wife and I put in many hours and money to put that thing on. Years later, people all said it was the best. Point is, do what you do and be able to look yourself in the mirror because you did it for the right reason. the hell with the naysayers. Contructive critisism is good, but in private. Praise in public, counsel in private.

Do what you do and do it for the right reason and dont worry about the negative people.

I am glad that Bill is going to keep THB active . I like this site and have meet some very nice people on here and have attended some very nice events because of THB..  Yes, the site may get a little slow at time , but this is the site that most of us use to find out - what , when and where something is going on .. It even has helped a few boater get the boats going because they needed a little help, and most of the THB members  on here do not mind helping a  fellow boater out any chance they get .

Everyone just step back and take a few deep breaths and relax , Springtime will be here soon and we will all be having fun on the water with our boating friends ..

I think it's time to move on from this as there's really nothing else to see.....

I'll let this thread stay alive for the remainder of the day and then lock it down tomorrow..... This should serve as notice the thread is about to be locked so I don't catch anyone off guard tomorrow when it actually happens.....lol.

I Have only been here for a year and some change so I dont realy have a Dog in this race, But I like the site, I see no reason to change it, Keep up the good work!

Not sure Kenney on the engine .. We are going to have to bore it .040 to get it all cleaned up , it burnt the cylinder walls pretty bad ..I think it will be alive the first part of March and then as soon as it gets warm enough , she will go in the water for a little test run .. -
