Enforcer Project renamed, Junk Yard Dog.

Just beat the rain... Got the bilge, bow, and side walls painted with the same blue that is on the deck. Did a test fit for carpet and seats. Looking at it this way, I think a yellow pinstripe would do better to tie the interior in. Still do the Enforcer in red, maybe sitting on top of some orange and yellow stripes.

Yeah, I got them from WAFOBABY for $400 as they sit. They fit the bill for Junk Yard Dog and are in really good condition. I'll have to get creative with stripes to get them worked into the scheme. UNLESS, someone on here has a grey set of cocktail seats in similar condition they would like to trade.

Another option would be to dye the stripes on the seats blue, leave the yellow piping, and use a yellow pinstripe. Then it would tie in fairly well.

Why didn't you just paint the boat to match the seats since you already had them when you bought paint ?

Because the cheap ass tractor paint only comes in like four tractor colors, to include John Deere green. This is literally a $150 paint job for all primer, colors, paint, clear coat, sand paper, and tape. The automotive clear with hardener was the most expensive part at $85.

Solution for the multi colored stripes.

Ok , so paint it Massey Furgeson Red and John Deere Yellow  with white pinstripes  :smile30:
Why not just John Deere Green and Yellow truly give it a Junkyard Dog look

James the link came up to painting vinyl panels didn't see anything there about stripes.

The particular gallon cans I got were on clearance from Tractor Supply at 50% off because the Valspar brand was being discontinued in favor of the TSC store brand. I got a gallon of Ford grey and a gallon of Ford Blue for like $30 cause that's all that was left on clearance, however the Ford blue was way too bright so I got a little can of black and added about an ounce to the gallon of blue and got the awesome color I have now. Just because the project is called junk yard dog doesn't mean the boat has to look like one.

That Duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye used in the link works on all flexible material, including seats. I used it on the interior in my short wide and it came out bad ass, even on the arm rests which are vinyl. It's a mix of new and junk yard pieces all colored to match.
