Galen it was great that you made the drive down from the Kansas City area , we will for sure get the bugs worked out and that is going to be one wild ride for sure ..

Maybe contact the 429 Marina and see if they know who the kid is and how to contact him , that is a great idle Kenny , I bet he would love that picture ..

I know the young man i gave a ride to Saturday loved it and I bet he want forget his ride for a long time .

I will keep the Regatta the end of the season. It will be in September or the first weekend in October. We will all decide which weekend after we start setting dates for the other events. Thanks again for everyone's help to make it happen! I have never put an event together before and couldn't have done it without all of your suggestions and questions. And thanks again for coming and not beaching too much about the boat ramp situation. And a BIG THANKS to Jason! I sure couldn't have done it without him!

Bobby no prob brother anytime I'm here if u want me to help ya for next year make it bigger and better.    Guess me doing the mud drags every month is what helped me cross the t's and dot the i's.  Thanks to everyone that made it and again those who didn't mark it down for next yr.  Had the best time I've had in yrs.

I'd like to arrange for some vendors next year. Hooters maybe? Possibly have vendors pay for beach space so the the camping can be free for and the RV's parking doscounted for the boaters.

This is a double edged sword....if we break through this drought, then there won't be any beach space....however if the drought continues......there'll be plenty of beach space but no boat ramps available to launch.

It's still a year away.......however with a La Nina weather pattern setting it....the forecast for rain does not look good for our area.
