I'll start a topic for the date on next years Regatta soon. I think we all need to work together on dates so all events will have a good turnout.

Think its a good deal, you gonna keep it towards the end of the season? People will recall the big events & what time of year they happen, regardless of the exact date. Still it doesn't hurt to start kickin it around early.
I think makin it a once a year deal is a good idea too. Although two would be cool, it may tend to water it down. And then you got folks that may not be able to swing both & have a hard time tryin to figure out which one to attend for whatever reasons: money, time off, etc...

I think once a year is good also , and the same time of the year would be nice . The weather was perfect this year for tent camping ..
If next year is a good as thsi one , Might just have to stay the night next year and make some runs Sunday morning ..

You can always post up a camping type get together at Tawakoni early in there year. Not really an event, just an announcement, and see who would be up for going. We have some smaller get togethers that are really enjoyable to attend. That way you don't have all the work trying to make it happen. I would be up for going back twice a year if I can pull it off with my schedule. :smile30:
Guys...i talked to HOBBS..he's dottin I"s and crossin T's...and also waiting on sdba schedule etc...so keep it in mind but most likely it'll get set in stone by mid January.This will be a full course TEST session. Billy i'm not sure...i know they have "some" equipment...we'll see how it works out. Right now i just know its in the works. TWO A YEAR WILL WORK. SECOND WEEK END IN MAY ? MOVE TO THE FIRST WEEK IN OCT? WE WER LUCKY ON THE WEATHER LAST WEEK END. WHEN THE LAKE IS FULL ANY MORE BOATS MAY FILL THE PLACE UP. I HAD A GOOD TIME AND HAVE MY CABIN FOR NEXT YEAR. PLOWMANS IS OUT. THEY WILL NEVER LET US BACK IN THER.

As everyone has said scott keep us in the loop as well. I will keep my eyes out for ur or hobbs post about it. Bobby I would try to keep it close to end of sept or first of oct. This time of year the lake is never full. Unless we just have a really wet summer. If it is full we will get it figured out.
