WAS going to Coleto Sunday, now looks like another fricking blizzard...lol

cool sounds like your getting there,  did a walk around the boat the other day,  found my steering is really stiff,  looks like that gonna need a little attention

I found the same problem with my boat too....replaced the steering cable with a new one back in 2010 and it's already difficult to turn. I spoke with Tom at JBP and he said the cables they get nowadays are from China and have, in his opinion, a life expectancy of 3-5 years. He also said that he just bought $10,000 worth of steering cables so he's very well stocked. His price for a cable and helm are $139....I think.

I have a steering cable on my Whaler that I installed new in 2007 that still turns as smooth as silk..... Guess it was made in the good 'ole USA.

it looks really nice,  I just don't want his head to swell so big the it doesn't fit under the bimini  :smile16:

There is that, and swelling will be a maximum with that BBC in it! :smile30:
