Just curious but are the Lightnings jacketed or injected and if they are jacketed, are they stainless inside and out?
they are jacketed.

I think the all stainless Lightning headers are a little better but the steel ones have a reputation for internal failure resulting in the motor ingesting water. I personally have two friends that lost motors from Lightnings that were less than two years old. If they have not already been, I would recommend having them pressure tested and then monitoring them closely afterward. It would be a shame to lose all your efforts and money you have invested in your motor. (This is probably something you already know but just in case you didn't, I thought I would mention it)

I am not going to run them...too many things had to be changed...plus Sandy and I both like the look it has.

Man that looks good Duane. What did you do to fix the clearance issue you had before? Also I see how far off the header tube is in relation to the exhaust tip. How are you going to fix that??

Got plumbing finished, timing set, wires on. Waiting on exhaust hoses now.
I was trying to figure out where the other Alternator belt goes when it disapears but then realized its the shine from the alternator cover thats just mirroring the one belt thats on there. It looks cool, great job Duane.
