Ok, after getting it home, and looking at all the parts he gave me....and taking some measurements, Sandy told me straight up, NO Ford.

The bbf is longer, and the back seat has already been moved as far as possible forward for the jetaway.
So:
All mounts already here, polished, and beautiful....pre-mounted on a proven boat....back seat still works....no brainer....gonna be chevy powered.
Stay tuned...lol
Headed to Bay City Saturday to pick up new mill. :smile30:

picked up my new to me building block saturday.  .040 over 454, balanced, with clay smith custom solid roller setup. 10.25 to 1, 049 oval port heads. Got it torn down to the short block.....ordering some parts.....need roller rockers, rings, gaskets, single dominator oval port intake, etc.

Scary part about this motor is it has a cast crank and 3/8 rods.... :smile20:
Hopefully it will be ok until I can build a 496.

I got a like new 1250 Marine Dominator I let go for 550.00 .. I paid 600 from EO a couple years ago .. .. I used it maybe 5 hours .. No power valve in it ... If you need it Duane . Might be a little too big for a 462?

Thanks, stu. Right now i'm in a limbo stage. Almost out of money for project, however, I believe I have sold my 67 cougar. As things unfold, I will see which way I'm gonna go.
