This thread needs to be deleted, and you fools need to stop posting in it,  this guy does not have the will or the know how to complete the project,  really tired of this thread,  nothing is going to happen here,  and now that the season is coming to an end the blow hard is back and the same ole conversation will repeat its self,  go back in this thread and you will see what KONA is talking about....  Enough is enough,  CJ go play golf with Obama

damn spoke too soon had the clutch cable on the bike snap on the way home today

And Kona the only golfing I would be doing with Obama is putting his head on a tee and hitting it with the biggest club I got.

dont forget theres a crack in your pump housing, thats gonna blow up first time it turns under load, but kona is right you need to clean house get rid of your shit, and go buy a 3500 project jet, that way if you want to SLOWLY put more money into it will at least be worth 3500, you could spend 20 thousand on that Chrysler, make it look like it did on the show room floor, and it only be wort 4K maybe, if you found the right sucker, that boat is fugly, and it will be a safety hazard, i only say this cause it looks like your really stretching pennies over there, and you've got too many irons in the fire, you dont have time (which is money) to be wasting on that pile of junk. maybe us telling you your stupid for messing with this making you want to keep on with this insane project, if you get it done, don't park that shit next to me.

This is one of the many reasons there is no traffic on this site.  It does not make any difference if you like Chris' project or not.  It is his project and it gets him involved in the hobby.  When new people read this board and all you guys are doing is bashing a long time member for their efforts, why would they want to join?  You do not have to look far back in this thread to even find posts from Global Moderators bashing Chris.  If it was just about any other member that these posts were directed at the post would be deleted or edited.  If I were to come in and bash Bill and his boat the way you guys do Chris I would have been condemned to the depths of Hell.

When I joined here I had a POS Sleekcraft Rebel with a Pontiac motor and a Jacuzzi YJ.  It was just about as desirable as an infected wart on the end of your penis.  In the end the boat turned out pretty nice for what it was.  It's all just a matter of opinion.  What a freaking joke this place has become.  The powers that be should review what THB stands for and consider revising it.  Just my .02.

Well having spent some time on other sites, everyone always voices their opinions! And it has to be welcomed rather we like it or not. We don't have to delete this thread, Cj can himself. Ultimately everyone on here would like CJ to show up to the water with a boat. Threads with out progress pics or pics of the boat in the water, are kind of suspects. People like to see that you are a legit guy, not some Jetski fan trying to hang with performance boaters! Which in it's self is OK! As long as you are compatible with the group! CJ offers allot of tips and tricks to guys whom have been doing this way longer than him! So my advice would be to post up as many pics as possible, and get one of said projects done and on the water! His participation here is valuable, just need to have something tangible to validate your progress! I have personally seen his motorcycle, but this is not a motorcycle forum! Yes we are hard on CJ, but we all would like to see him and a boat in the water under it's own power! Thanks for your replay Mohican, all views and opinions are valued! I hope you and the rest of us will put forth some effort to keep this place alive, and by posting your opinion it shows you still care! clap.gif

Ill tell ya what is bullshit, having to wade though a bunch of worthless posts by some one that doesn't have a boat, LM your warty penis boat, still went to lake, i gave him the benefit of the doubt for a couple of years, but now i have to say something, I like most are fed up a 5 post a day average of nothingness, my previous comment is not a dig at CJ personally or as a human, nor at you, i would like him to get a warty penis boat, and go to the lake, instead of on the bank watching and blabbering

There is an easy solution to that.  Don't read his posts or block him as a user so you do not see his posts...  Oh... Wait...  You can't block him with this forums outdated software.  Yet another one of the many issues here.  :smile29:

You are absolutely correct Steve.  One of the many things that drove me away from this place was the lack of a standard rules or enforcement of standard rules.  Depending on who you are or what member you are commenting on, you post may or may not be edited or deleted.  Most other boards have moderators that stay neutral or they get relieved of their duties.  That is something that seems to be lacking a little here.  Before you all start getting up in arms, I am not talking about anything between Cliff and I.  That is a done deal.  I am just talking about things in general.  I do think it is sad what has happened to this place.  I refuse to get on FB for my own reasons.  Because of those 2 things I never see any of the local performance boat community any more.  Mainly because I never know when or where anyone is going.  It is what it is.

In defense of the people that have hammered on CJ, in the past he used to bring it on himself by talking like an authority on any and all subjects without the credibility to back it. He also used to make all kinds of claims about the progress he was going to make with little to none ever happening. He has rubbed a lot of qualified people the wrong way, even though it was (I am sure) unintentional. However, in defense of CJ, anytime someone has called him on it he has almost always backed off of the offensive posting and tried to conform to more acceptable practices. He has quit with the 20 posts a day of dribble, he stopped acting like an authority on everything, he has stopped making weekly claims of everything he was going to get accomplished, and he even pulled the pictures of his boats down in his signature because someone said they were tired of looking at them. I posted a (non-bashing) joke in it, but he wasn't the one that pulled the thread up to make claims of progress. He is at least holding on to his dream of building the boat he wants and maybe someday it will happen. I hope it does........I am not holding my breath.......but stranger things have happened!! LOL!!  Bottom line is, I think he has earned a little break from the unprovoked harassment, however in order gain any "respect" around here, he will need to make some progress on one of them and prove it.
