This is one of the many reasons there is no traffic on this site.  It does not make any difference if you like Chris' project or not.  It is his project and it gets him involved in the hobby.  When new people read this board and all you guys are doing is bashing a long time member for their efforts, why would they want to join?  You do not have to look far back in this thread to even find posts from Global Moderators bashing Chris.  If it was just about any other member that these posts were directed at the post would be deleted or edited.  If I were to come in and bash Bill and his boat the way you guys do Chris I would have been condemned to the depths of Hell.

When I joined here I had a POS Sleekcraft Rebel with a Pontiac motor and a Jacuzzi YJ.  It was just about as desirable as an infected wart on the end of your penis.  In the end the boat turned out pretty nice for what it was.  It's all just a matter of opinion.  What a freaking joke this place has become.  The powers that be should review what THB stands for and consider revising it.  Just my .02.

I'm not 100% sure, and if I am mistaken I apologize in advance, but aren't you the one that created or posted a video public service announcement of some sort advocating taking a chainsaw & cutting up his boat?  :huh: :wink: :cheesy:

If you guys dont stop whoring this thread up it will soon have more posts and views than the hatemail for Patch thread.  Than can mean one of two things.

1.  CJ is secretly disliked more than patch.

2.  You guys are actually closet supporters of the CJ.  After all you put a lot of creative thinking into the adjectives you use to describe the activity in this thread.

Customtouch = "Dribble"
Last Mohican = "He shold get a Warty Penis Boat so he can atlease have a boat on the water"
PAtch = "A jetski fan trying to hang with performance boaters"
John = "I would like him to get a Warty Penis boat, so I can watch his strong arms while me motors across the lake"

I think the answer is number 2.

Thb isn't the only web based sure that has lost viewership, every other boating site had too. The absolute main reason is Facebook. Each group can make their own private group that is local and pertinent to that group on Facebook. PB, iboats, JBP and many other sites I've been on all have lost membership.

I don't think it has anything to do with outdated software when most sites have taken a hit.

I agree FB is part of the reason and most likely the main reason.  However, It is not the only reason.  Outdated software is a contributing factor. Simple things like subscribing to a thread and getting an email when someone replies is related to outdated software and configuration issues.  The fact it is so hard to sign up is a contributing factor.  There are other factors as well.  Tom's board has never had the surge in traffic/membership like THB did a few years back.  PB and RDP are still strong.  The sections people are posting in have changed a little but they are still very active boards.  Just my .02 and I am entitled to it just as everyone else is.

Chris,

Maybe this will help with your progress. I know a guy about two hours north of you (Copperas Cove near Killeen) that's replacing a SIII jet drive with an outdrive. Pretty sure he'll sell the jet, not sure what he wants for it. He's tried to join the board, but hasn't ever heard back from anybody.

Kurt. Have the guy try and join again. Let me know what his screen name is too please.

We get 200-500 spam account requests per day. Sometimes a legit account request is overlooked.

Kurt just sent you a PM.  Yes I would like to see if he would like to sell it.
