No you did work around your VDrive not on it or in it.

Going to get the motor finish cleaned up this weekend and start putting it back together as well as get the Transom installed and cap back on.  Once that's done will start cutting out the new stringers and getting them ready to be glassed in. It will start coming together quickly.

Hahahahaha!!!! ROFLMFAO!!!

Rule #1 about boating.
1. Don't take your wife to the water with a broke azz motor! She'll tighten up those purse strings rite quick! :smile30: Getting towed back to shore sucks, and listening to your ol lady gripe about how stupid you are, and how hot it is, and who thought this was a good idea - sucks even worse! :smile30:

Nobody is going on it until I test it out and run the sh!t out of it first.  And it ain't gonna break on me, my motors never leave me stranded.  Well there was that one time but I lernt my mistake and never did that again.

I feel that it will get me through this season at least.  Wifey won't let me spend much more money on it need to get it on the water then can justify more money later.  Yeah call it whatever you want but she holds the checkbook I just make the money.

Actually I have a Bimini for the CJ once it's all back together, been Stockpiling parts.

On another note since Kona seems to believe I haven't been working on my boats here are some things I got done this weekend.

1) Old Reverse rotation 360 was removed from the trailer and put on a pallet under the carport.
2) Cleaned up the Carport area and setup Pallets with plywood on top and setup the engine stands for the engine builds.
3) got the 454's I have to build moved from their storage location and on engine stands in my new engine work area
4) got the 440 for the Carlson on an engine stand
5) Got the 360 for the CJ on an engine stand.

Next step to get the 360 all cleaned up, pull the oil pan and modify for a larger sump, reinstall the heads after lapping in the two new valves, paint and install the new intake.

Then tear down the 440, swap out the pistons on the rods, take the block to the machine shop for the overbore and work on the reassembly.

Here is a pic from last night
