ive been told that that woven glass mat there is not very good, delaminates easy, not trying to poop on your parade just passing on my limited knowledge
John I am using epoxy resin with it so it's something I understand but less of a concern with the Epoxy over Poly resin.  plus the weave on mine is a tight weave much more like a true cloth.  My boat was built mostly with cloth too and its not delaminating.  The spots I have delaminating issues are where it was poorly glassed with mat not cloth, but a poorly glassed area will delam no matter what was used.

And no pooping in the parade without someone to back you up with a pooper scooper.  Maybe Jereme wants the job?  crazy.gif

Looks like your finally getting something done on it.

Rocking the cove will be coming up before you know it, better keep working on the CJ, or your going to catch more shit than a colostomy bag.

????

I believe that means he thinks you are crazy  :smile30: The thought of having the Chrysler ready  to go anywhere within two weeks kinda does sound like you are dreaming  crazy.gif
Read that again it doesn't say in two weeks it will be done.  It says two weeks before Rocking the cove I have a trip planned in which we plan on taking it, at which point it will be done.  ROcking the cove is still 11 weeks away and that trip is 9 weeks away.

Been sniffing the Hair dye again are we?  crazy.gif

Ready in nine weeks with the shell split? No effin way. Prove me wrong!

(Just providing some motivation)
I have everything to put it back together except the plywood.  From here on out its all glassing and go.  I did a majority of the grinding on it this weekend.  The Transom is ready for a small epoxy patch and then the new wood to be epoxied in place.

The biggest hold ups will be the fuel delivery and the intake/pump crack.

I told ya'll once I go to workin on it, it would go like gangbusters.

Kona no need for another event I am movin and groovin.  Once I start putting wood back in it then it will start going even faster because I will be putting it back together. Motivation is funny how it works that way.  BCR was a jumpstart but mostly for the wife because now she can see us using it and I don't get the nagging about spending all my time on it.

James the List started with BCR, then rockin the cove and to end the season at Tawakoni.  Of course around here the boating season really doesn't end but i will have to take it back down to re-gel the hull.  This year it will just be a polish.

Okay since this is the off topic thread of off topic threads absolutely no work got done last night.  I spent most of the evening trying to find new halogen bulbs work my work light i had bought a while ago as spares because one blew a week ago and one blew tuesday night.  well tore my whole storage shelf apart went through every box and to no avail.  My wefe had reorganized everything. I did find my little containers of new nuts and bolts I had been looking for forever in a place I did not put them.  Well after exhausting myself looking i remembered I had put them in a manilla bubble wrap envelope and I remembered seeing one in my tear down and sure enough they were there but still not where I put them.  My daughter had a friend over so about the time I was ready to head outside they want ice cream.  Figuring momma would say no i say go ask your mother.  next thing I know I am going to the store for ice cream with the girls.  I get back and its like 10 o'clock well my sleep must be catching up to me cause the next thing i know my wife is waking me up off the couch and its midnight.  Gonna have to work double time this weekend to get anything done.  ARGG.

Sorry man too funny! But I'm happy for you! clap.gif :smile16:
