Where's that nephew of yours? Tell him uncle needs help and that will get him on the water faster! :smile30:
He is making up time with the girl he is sort of seeing. (they are not dating but they spend every night together it seems after her kid goes to bed) LOL.

I will have him working on it too.  I just need to train him on what needs to be done.  Plus he is still recovering from the sunburn but then that's his fault he didn't want to wear sunscreen so he could tan.  I wonder how fiberglass dust and sunburn mix it up??

Exactly  I am planning on doing a little work on it every night from now on.

TTJ better be worried and start looking for those main caps for Patch.

Even on days when I didn't know what to work on, I would go look at the boat and find something to work on EVERY DAY!! That's the only way it will get done. ALL the minute details have to be worked, whether it's making a bracket or measuring a piece of wood to be cut. No matter how small a job it is, it all helps with the big picture.

Do something everyday.

That's EXACTLY what I did to get my project done so quickly....everyday covered a tiny detail.

Yup thats my new plan work on something the wife wants done then go work on the boat and whatever i can get done I get done.  Last night the goal was to get it cleaned out and the jet pump out of the boat.  Mission accomplished.  Removing the center stringer was a bonus.  Tonights main goal is to bet it sitting straight and string tied so that its square.  Get the support bunks to the boat stands.  Then see how much grinding i can get done before midnight.  If it goes well then put down a layer of cloth and epoxy to the floor.  If not then the next day.

Good to see that you are getting motivated to get some work done on the boat . It can seem overwhelming at times , but if you keep making a little progress when you can you will have it on the water before you know it . It will still just be an ugly old Chrysler , but it will be on the water  :smile30:

I think it's more like a moped or a fat chick  :smile30: Still fun to ride , but you don't want your friends to see you on it  :smile30:

Well when you see it done you might think otherwise.  I like my boats like I like my women with curves and this boat has them.

More work done tonight, cut out all the the remainder of the floor, removed all the remainder of the foam, finished pulling the center stringer, still need to clean out all the trash.  Also stopped to get the rim for the trailer and checked it but the boat got done first.

the 16" rim sans tire.

Will have to do some slight mods to use these but they will look nice.

Not as much as I wanted to get done but more than I had planned.  Already have the wife onboard with the cost for the floor and transom.  Had to explain it in terms she would agree with.  Once I have the floor in I can put the top and bottom back together and it wont be so spread out.  I can even put the trailer back under it at that point.  Then its getting her to realize why i have to spend $170 on a new intake for the motor thats not going to be easy.  She understands the new gaskets for the motor.

I hear ya D-man on the motivation.... You have a lot of work ahead of ya CJ....and I mean a lot. I hope you took a lot of "before" pictures so you'll know where to put things when you're done. I did with my project and I'm glad I did.....they helped out a lot.

Oh, CJ....when you post up your photo bucket links, be sure to put a space between each picture link or else your photos will be all jumbled up. I've had to go in and fix your links.
