I need to run a sprinkler system in my front yard. If someone could post up a how-to here that would be sweet. Then I'll know where to find it later.

Did you do a woodgrain paint job on it while you had it down?

Funny guys yeah i know there hasnt been much work on the boat in months.  And I know I keep saying this but there will be soon.  I thought I had crossed off another to do last night with finishing a customers truck but the damn replacement motor won't fire up and the compression looks worse than Cliff's motor before it got rebuilt.  I had planned an entire weekend of grinding and glassing on the boat looks like its going to be another weekend of swapping motors again.

As much as ya'll are getting tired of no progress I am getting just as tired of not being able to work on it.

Two polar bears are on an icecap at the North pole. The ice cap breaks apart and the pieces drift apart - one drifts down Atlantic, the other the Pacific. The polar bears think they're lost forever. Then at the South Pole they see one another. One calls "Hey!" and other says, "No soap, radio!" think.gif

OKay okay my next post on this thread will be with actual boat work done pics.  I get the point.  Pointless as it is.  go ahead and derail away until I actually do something just getting me more and more agitated to get it done.  Its too bad I cant take another day off work and get that damn truck done so I can work on the boat this weekend.

Work finally gettin done on the ChryslerJet
I cleaned it out, got the rest of the jet housing removed, removed the center stringer.  Tomorrow finish cutting out the old floor fiberglass and remove the foam in the bow so i can remove the remainder of the center stringer.  Then the next order of business is getting the new transom installed and the pump reinstalled.  Then onto the motor stringers, side and center stringers. but before those need to maxe sure the hull is straight and add bunk styled supports to the makeshift boat stands to keep the boat from getting a hook.  I don't want to be like Kona with a hooked hull. :smile30:

Here are some shots.  I finally got a good shot of the bump in the roof of the intake too.  Here is that shot first, you can see the bump behind the rock grate.  this is from the pump side after the pump was removed.

the cleaned hull

the old center stringer came out by just kicking it

another shot of the cleaned hull

the missing pump and transom

The hole in the transom for the pump

like the rock grate?

Ha ha yeah wifey said go outside and work on the trash so i did then cleaned the trash from the boat.  Not what she wanted me to work on but all she said was it looks nice.

That intake looks mean doesn't it?

I could be grinding tonight and possibly laying a layer of cloth and epoxy on the floor.
