Took these pics in the state park last time we were up there fly fishing.

I think I've seen YouTube vids from the pacific northwest with jet boats racing on that river!!

Im probably going to bring my sons 110cc little ATV with us too...all depends on how much crap is in the back of my truck. lol.

I'm certainly going to bring a long extension cord and the battery charger. Additionally I'm bringing our air compressor, tools and some extra fuel for the ATV and I know that our 9 year old sons are gonna tear that 4 wheeler up!!

Pretty sure 4 wheelers are not allowed in Southern Hills.  There are trails in the area but you have to buy a permit to use them and you will have to truck the four wheeler over to the area.  The trails are not that great.  Basically dirt roads and you have to stay on the roads.  You might want to do a little research.  I have had a few friends haul their junk up there and said it was really kinda lame.  None of them did it twice.

EDIT: http://www.beaversbendcreativeescape.com/FAQ.htm

"Are there designated ATV trails? Yes – you must have an access pass to ride on any of the Three Rivers trails (Weyerhaeuser land). The cost is $25 per person per year. ATV access fees may be paid at Wal-Mart, most convenience stores or at the Beavers Bend State Park office. Frontier General Store has area ATV trail maps and info. Be sure to obtain and understand the rules and regulations before riding the trails. The nearest access is 4 miles north of the Beavers Bend entrance. The US Forest Service offers free ATV passes to the right of Hwy. 259. Most of the Weyerhaeuser land is to the left of Hwy. 259.

May we ride our ATV vehicles from the cabins? No – you must trailer your vehicles to the ATV trails."

Oh well, we'd rather be in the lake anyway. It'll save me the hassle of loading it up etc. Gives me an "Out" to my kid so I don't have to mess with it. Lol.

Looks like Patch has some skeleton's in his closet...  Or some kind of bones in there.  :smile26:
I was helping my cousin do a remodel job in Dallas once. When we got to the house, the queer that answered the door, had a DGA shirt on. It didn't take long to figure out what it stood for. This was back in 1984, so the website was a shot in the dark. Now you guys will know if you see one of those shirts yourself. This was a public service announcement for you North guys, watch your back! :smile26:

The cabins on either side of Matt and I are still available for that weekend. The Cop R Top and Vino Vista. If we got NTJBC people in those cabins we would own a little corner of the neighborhood. It's only $50 up front to make the reservation. The remainder gets charged two weeks before we go.

Any golfers going? I guess there's a golf course in the area. I don't claim to play, but I can lose a dozen balls with the best of them. I'd be up for a round on Sunday morning, even if it's only a 9 hole round. We DO have boats that need to get put int he water.

Oh and James....you and Matt need to bring your RC cars to Broken Bow. I just dropped some coin on a Traxxis Stampede 2wd monster truck for Jacob for Christmas..... and when I get my tax refund check from the gubernment, I'm getting a RC car myself.
