67 Carlson V-Drive Race boat restoration

If you want the parts I will bring them to Billy. I left a set of 906 heads with JJ they have good springs on them for a hydraulic cam. You are welcome to them if you can work out something with him.

Galen next time you are down yes I will take them.  This is not the last Big Block motor I will be building but I know I won't be building a monster like yours.  I know you said you will pass them down if you wont let me pay you then drinks are on me next time we get together.

I came across this while doing some research for my Glastron. Thought maybe it would give you some motivation. Has your boat and even what looks like one of those (Hemi) thingies in it. :grin:

  600$ is a good deal. 5 times that new.  Chris I will bring your springs and stuff when I come down.

Bassett Racing website has them listed at $1035.00 brand new so I would think he might come down a little for used ones. Problem (or maybe advantage) is they are not as common as BBC or even BBF so there is a limited market for them so who knows.

  Thats not bad price. I supplied the flanges and wanted a certain tube size and length ceramic coated. 3K.  Not many out there for big block mopar.  I agree Chris, shoot them an offer.

I would but momma would kill me if I dropped that kinda cash even 3 bills on something not for Christmas for the kids right now.  We are trying to get into a house found a couple with nice big garages/workshops for the boats.  And we make have to make an emergency trip to Michigan, my 93 year old grandfather is in the hospital.  My parents are flying up after Christmas.  If we have to make that trip Galen will swing by on the way there or back at least for a short visit.
