Are the threads Heli-coiled?  Looks like the exhaust is.  If not I would stud everything you can or Heli-coil it yourself.  Looks good.

Yeah, checking with a magnetic screwdriver, all the the threads are helicoiled.

Here's a pic of the intake manifold to head ports. A tennis ball could easily move from one to the other.. LOL

Why are you putting tennis ball in your heads? Is this some of those Ford racing secrets I've heard so much about?

Oops, I mis-spoke.. Tennis balls are for small Fords, the big Fords fit beer cans in the ports.. LOL

Four of these in two days keeps the cheddar coming, but leaves no time for turning bolts...

More engine parts. Still need the unequal length pushrods and steel roller rockers.

I'd be careful using inexpensive rollers.  The quality control on those Chinese parts is crap.  As much as you have spent so far I would go with a known good brand.  Something like Harland Sharp or Comp Cams.  Just my .02

Yeah, still kicking that one around. I haven't bought them yet. The stock ones are still good and 1.73 ratio.  I might go with steel roller tip so they never come loose.

I had a set of the Pro Comp rockers on my Blazer and they worked great. One had a failure, but it was due to the poly lock not being set correctly.

But you're right. There's a lot of money in that motor now.

I'd go with the stock ones before I put steel roller tips.  Most of the friction is in the fulcrum not the tip.  Put the stock ones on for now and wait till you have the cheddar for a good set of full rollers.  You'll be glad you did in the end.  Again, Just my .02

Ya, I got the cheap Chinese crap roller tips in mine....I'd like to swap them out for something of better quality with full rollers soon...like real soon!

Would I have to replace my rods if I went to a full roller rocker?

more than likely, just have to get them and check your geometery. I had to go to a little longer puch rod.
