James, I sure hope you're taking lots of pictures to help document this restoration.

Every step along the way... I used to have a Geocities web page. It had the old Blazer build, but Geocities shut down. I have no idea of a free webpage service that is similar to what Geocities was.

hurry.gif    clap.gif          Let me know if you need help getting it put  back in James I dont mind a bit.

It probably won't be going back in till late Feb. Still gotta build it. Before that I have to paint the hull. It's totally stripped bare now except for the pump. If all goes well it will be upside down on a pile of tires this afternoon.

What time are you going to flip it.  I should be able to come help.

You should have some free space from your high speed service provider.

X 2. I'm supposed to go and paint two rooms inside a rent house today but I think the owner is going to bail on me.....so that may free up my time.

Dude.. I do not know what is going on... but we have so much crap flying in and out of this shop.. Three full loads last week and two this week.. record sales this week.. I know last year February was our busiest month, probably because of income tax checks or something.

Believe me, I'm loving it, but I get NO time at all to work on the Glastron!! I really wanted to get it flipped today if anything to get it upside down for the bad weather coming in. Oh well, the cover will still work.

Oh, made $140 for painting two rooms and pulling out some morning glory vines. It's all going toward the Broken bow fund!!

Picked the block up from the machine shop this afternoon. It was $293.47 out the door, painted and all.

No, it wasn't decked. The D1VE block has a deck of 10.31 and the ideal deck for my head/piston combo is 10.28, or something along that line, so I left it alone.

Don't forget cam bearings and brass freeze plugs installed also!!

Got a digital scale to balance out the rotating assembly. All the new pistons are within 2 grams of each other, I'll get them dead on tonight. The stock pistons and rods (they're all still attached) vary in weight across a 12 gram spread. The two pistons that were beat up from the rogue pushrod are right smack in the middle of the pack.

Ok, screw this balancing crap. I'm gonna take my entire rotating assembly down to Blaines and have them knock it out for $140..
