Thought Id bring up my resto again. I got it back from Blenderman, put the gauges back in and it kind of just sat while i collected parts, worked, and figured it all out.

Had the motor bored 20 over, raised compression with some new forged pistons, new rods, intake, and powder coated the mounts, covers and accessories.

it went to my father in laws and was inside for the first month or so. Then I brought it back here and its been covered. I do have a few spots that look like they cracked or bubbled under the paint on the exterior. Noticed it after the hot hot summer. I guess ill dab some touchup paint on it and buff it out.

I was going to try and get some pics of it before the sun went down.

ok... got all my stainless lag bolts, wood screws, fender washers and nuts together. With a bit of planning got my seats in just the way I wanted them.

Rear bench is held down by 3 pedestals. All holes predrilled and sealed.

Seats by ARS and upholstery by a local shop which I think I have mentioned. Pedestals are detachable. So not only can I take covers off. I can take the whole seat out.
Both front seats swivel and slide.

i searched a lot for seat bases. The ones i finally went with were the Garlick EEz-In Detachable 5 1/2 Inch Boat Seat Pedestal w/ Evolution Slider from Greatlakesskipper

Looks good.  I would suggest building some sort of bulkhead along the bottom of the bench to keep small articles from sliding back into the engine.  It could get ugly real quick if an anchor rope got caught in the front pulley.
