1976 Earl Smith Texas Tunnel 16' project

Got this this spring, starting to collect parts, currently it is a center stear, i'd like to make it a 2-seater. recomendations? advise from anyone who's had this hull would be appreciated. My goal is an 85mph lake /drag boat.

I agree with Duane, I am no expert but not sure that is a real good idea.  I have heard some stories that that would not be favorable.

Andy...to make it a two seater, just put a seat behind the drivers seat in the middle.....that way you'll stay balanced.

could do that,  but a cooler idea would be a bench like mentioned with a center steer and two big boobed blonds on each side,  now that's shizznits  :grin:

Looks like is COULD be a two seater lake boat if you keep a small block and probably under 60 on the big end. Hey, Mike's Sunkisst hull is for sale, ready for your motor, and it's a two seater!
