Shop talk

And speaking of shop talk, mine is finally done. jump.gif No electrical yet but I can start putting some of the toys back inside at least, hated letting stuff just sit around outside. Sure did a number on my boat seats. :smile15:

Few pics Carole snapped the other night.

Thanks David! Yeah I wanted to be able to pull straight thru when coming home from somewhere with the boat. I had intended to have 2 drive thru bays, but decided to hold off for awhile, use that money elsewhere. It can be easily added later I was told.

Far as the CJ deal, I bet that is the same rig he used to pull the cap off that old Chrysler boat of his. Wonder what ever happened to that dude... and if he ever did anything with either one of those old boats.

Nice shop D-Man is that in Victoria where I visited you last?

Thanks Clayton, man how you been? No, we moved from that place in 2011 (wow doesn't seem like that long) to another place across town where we lived up until the first part of this year. Which we sold and moved back to our property in Edna. Now hopefully shouldn't be any more moving unless its in a hearse or a coroner's van...  :smile16:

An old friend came to visit for awhile!

This is the last full restoration I did in my shop! :smile14:

Still looks great!

Well it has come a long ways as you can see by the before and after pictures. The restoration was a collaborative effort with another hot rod shop to bring a buddies sentimental car back to life. The car was bought brand new for his mother back in 1968 and now will eventually be passed on to his daughter. Kinda cool story behind it and it was great to be a part of it even though it seemed to take forever.

Busy "offseason" in the shop! Plus the new addition for the Color Me Gone race team that we have to get ready for the 2021 APBA race season that's not pictured. Lol!
