That's going to be sweet! Witch set up you gonna go with? I remember reading something the other day about a new efi set up that would work with boosted applications? Don't remember the name right off hand?

I'm gonna use a cleaned up factory truck intake, and Holley HP. Come with a complete harness, ECU, wideband O2 and software. It's a self learning system. In learn mode it will read the widebands and maintain the A/FR at whatever you set it at adjusting timing along the way,

Ok, sold all my carb shit and am fixin to switch from carb to EFI... This is gonna sting - $$$$$$

Holley HP EFI ECU & Harness kit - Part# 550-602
Holley Hi Ram LS1 cathedral port intake - Part# 300-123
Holley 120lb/hr low impedence injectors - Part# 522-128
Holley 105mm straight bore throttle body - Part# 112-583

417 Motorsports Intercooler - Part# 417AWIC250

Gonna have to start with the EFI system going NA thru a stock intake to get me up and running while I collect the Intake and intercooler parts.  I'll keep you posted.

Yeah, in the meantime it'll be a $20 Craigslist stock intake heavily modified. Fiirst, smoothed and glassed the truck intake. Then added a -8 fuel rail off of Ebay. Then took the throttle body apart to convert from the LS pull cable style to a hot foot pusher style. Got perfect travel from closed to wide open.

All the little chit that you never think about (like that throttle cable deal) eat up WAY more time than you would ever think!  Your gonna have this LS chit down to a science! 👍🏻👍🏻

Stock big block runs very good, but the boat is SLOOOOOOWWW. Won't even bust 70.

Got a 498 incher in the works.. Scat 4340 stroker crank and rods, Diamond small dome pistones, RHS heads, .750ish solid roller.

Block is back with the crank installed. The nitrous specific Mahle rings are here ad ready to be file fit.

I'm happy as long as you and Cliff have your boats running and on the water. You guys are great ramp escorts for guys like me that show up to the lake and don't have their s**t together. Really appreciate you following me to the ramp that day at Lavon. I owe you one!

As long as I tow more than I get towed, I'm good! Lol...

Hope you spend more time on Lavon this year bro.....always great hanging with folks that have the same love of the hobby as we do.

That's the plan! Been a little tough for me to talk myself into driving over there until I had all of my ducks lined up. You saw how my first trip went and I must admit that it was a longer drive home with my tail between my legs than it was on the trip over there that morning. My ego will probably hang on to that one until I've had few "uneventful" outings. Lol  Need to find a good secure hotel(s) close too so I can have a few beers and the queen doesn't have to tow the boat all the way back home. She doesn't like towing my flatbottoms very much. She says I get panicky but I know that's not true. :smile17:

James, your boat is going to look different.
I look forward to seeing it with all the polished stuff.
