I will crawl under the boat and check the prop I know it's a 4 blade

Are we talking gears for the flatbottom?
If so a two blade prop is the way to go for a performance flat bottom to be used as a drag boat.  A four blade will man handle the boat and not allow the prop to break loose as needed.

Thanks Brian
My prop is a 11x 16 Tom Black prop and I have 22's in it right now .. I just do not want to twist this big engine anymore than I need to .. I hoping to keep the RPM 7000-7200 and still run hard ..

Max HP at 6600 was 843 drop down to like 810 Hp at 7000 RPM 782 Hp at 7200 RPM
Max TQ at 5000 was 806

Found out earlier today I have been looking for the wrong gears. Now looking for a set of 10 degree 1.40 if anyone has them.
