Scott had 715 hp....I'm making maybe 550....the setup worked for 92 with his motor...70 now. He sais he lost 6mph with the straight snoot, but more "family" stable...trying to get some mph back.

I got ya.

Duane,
When I took the droop off of mine and put the snoot I put 8 deg. wedge and it slowed it down 3mph. I took 1 deg. of wedge out so I had the 7 deg. like the droop has built into it and picked up the 3mph I had lost. I just like the way it launches with a snoot. I still would like to try a droop again just to see. Suppose to lift boat and I think I could use that. I have heard about some people picking up like 5mph by going to the droop but, I just didn't see that on mine.

well, it will feel like your going faster regardless. with a droop you can feel the hull lift and set down as you move diverter up and down once on plane. good luck
