Base model Vette is cheaper than a GT500 and the only place the Stang wins is a couple tenths in a quarter mile. All other aspects the Vette wins by a landslide, including the most imporant stat of all... Getting pu$$y in the passengers seat.

In our town a base Corvette is $70,000 plus tax, title and license and there is a 6 month waiting list, The Shelby GT 500 is 67,000 on the sticker and the dealer wants a $10,000 more because of "availability", because the car is sitting in the showroom.  So don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I'm just going by MSRP. If dealers want to jack the price up, that's on them. MSRP on a base model Vette is cheaper than a GT500.
