Took it to Scotts ridge for a few hours.Making sure this one floats and works right so i don't look like a dumb ass like the last time I saw you at Somerville...LOL.. that was one of the worst days I've had with any of my boats in the last 40 years..but at least I didn't blow it up or sink it.. :grin:

My weather says chance of showers in the morning then cloudy in the afternoon.  I went and bought all the supplies for crawfish, so we will be eating rain or shine. Kind of like the catfish fry ( Rain or monsoon) :smile17:

:smile25: Saturday winds NNE 10 to 20. High 71. Yuck!!!! Yesterday was beautiful though. I took the CP out for it's first good run of the year. It was light breeze and 78 degree water temp. I went to Overlook first, paid my $5 and proceeded to get in a line. I was about 10 back from launching and decided to pull out and go to Welch. No line getting in or out of the water later.

About 4 pm I cruised over to Overlook and there was still a line 20 boats long to launch or retrieve. I made the right choice on going to Welch. I think Overlook is going to be very crowded this summer.

Monsoon, that was a damn hurricane! We will be pulling out at around noon on Friday.

Well the Ol girl runs!, I'm sure it should float, and new tags are on the way! SO hopefully I can get all the other items checked off my list. Oh and the a/c works on the motorhome. So as of now the rest is little nit picky crap! Crossing the lake from Welch may be not so fun Saturday. Maybe with the weather forecast Overlook won't be too crowded. think.gif
