Tomorrow morning me and the CP are heading for Phoenix. Overnight in beautiful Van Horn Tx.

First weekend I'll be in Blyth (SOCAL deal).
Second weekend it's Phoenix, probably Saguaro Lake.
Third weekend it's Laughlin Nv. (SOCAL deal).
Fourth weekend it's Havasu for River Dave 10th Anni party with the MONSTER BASH combined.

Then, heading home on Tuesday/ Wednesday. That's the plan for now.

Man, I do so love being retired!!!!!!!!!!!  :smile16:

Made Van Horn in 9 hrs 15 min at 606 miles. Once you get past Kerrville it's a piece of cake. Tomorrow only problem is getting through El Pisso.

I've been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I had no internet connection at the Cove Resort. I will post pics today or tomorrow. Lots to show and tell. I just got back in Phoenix at 1:00 PM today.

A brief narrative so you know what your looking at. I stayed at the Cove RV Resort on the river at I10 in Blythe. I rented a cabin with a carport to park the boat under. 

The event was a SoCal deal called the Southwind Regata. It was open to all boats. Saturday was the big day and Saturday night there was a party at McAntire Park where most folks were staying.

Everybody went to a sandbar where you anchor against the current which is flowing about

Now a few pics:

4. Rob and Matt's compound. They rent the space year round. It's is next to the cabin, convenient.
5,6,&7. We went upriver from I10 to another sandbar.
