We'll be bringin 4 tx19s and a cheyenne,heading south Friday morning.So far thats all that have said for sure to be there.hopefully a couple more.

It does seem a little wierd to class the boats by the number of seats in the boat . So the guys with the really fast boats can just put a few fold up seats from a john boat in the boat and take the 3 plus seat title ? Seems kinda screwy to me  crazy.gif crazy.gif No matter though , I aint even close to being done with my boat , and I am only going to race guys with day cruisers  :smile30:

Doesn't really matter how they class it they will never make everyone happy. Last year it was 90 and under and 91 and over but guys were runner over 100 in the 90 and under class. Most of these guys no where they stand  and who to run to get a good race and not a hand me win.

Toby stop buy yesterday with bad news, He was warming it up and it did not sound right turned it of pulled covers and found a broken value stem just below the keeper. He said that the value did not fall in the cylinder. He will be there in the big red boat.      :smile25:

Some of the real quick jets say they are skeerd of the salt water, I think they are skeerd to be beat by a 6 bang'n whacker. I can talk smack either way I own both.

There are a couple of pretty quick boats but I think the whackers will hold there own for sure. I have run most of them with my jet and do not see a real big threat. I think some of them have a short memory who was the top dogs last year.

Maybe I was misunderstood.  I am sacred to put my jet boat in the jac, that is not a slam at all, nothing to do with speed.  I personally do not want to run salt threw it.  What I was saying is I know there are some faster jets that do not want to run in that water.  I will say that particular weekend at a 1/8 mile run I think the whackers are at an advantage. I was not trying to stir up anything.  I also stand behind my statement the quickest boats last year was whackers.  I just want to go have a good time and watch the show and visit with friends.  All this crap trying to stir people up I do not get.This is not whackers against jets, I thought it was boaters having fun!  My.02

half the fun of racing is always giving each other crap. nobody misunderstood you, just trying to give you a hard time. i think i know most of the outboard guys at the river and are mostly a great bunch of guys. the ones that know me know i would love to have an outboard boat so i could run all day and out to battleship on a tank of fuel. but seems like the faster outboard hulls are all tall and being paralized i cant get up into them. hope we all have a blast this weekend. i like to check out all the new boats and setups as much as anything.

I have been looking foward to this for a long time.  However I will have to leave a couple of times because my son has two hockey games in Clearlake (cannot miss I am his #1 fan).  I will be there as much as possible.  Look me up lil chris. I have no idea how my boat will run, no testing and trying a different prop. crazy.gif

Jereme no he doesn't have the TX back yet, but we weren't planning on bringing it this weekend.
