Some of the real quick jets say they are skeerd of the salt water, I think they are skeerd to be beat by a 6 bang'n whacker. I can talk smack either way I own both.
There are a couple of pretty quick boats but I think the whackers will hold there own for sure. I have run most of them with my jet and do not see a real big threat. I think some of them have a short memory who was the top dogs last year.

Same Testing procedure as last year but a new location.
In Jan. we should have more beach than we do during the summer but,
please bring an anchor or rope to tie up during the test session.
Down South Park will be the new location. Loves Marina will be the
primary launch and Good Times Marina will be the secondary just
across the river from Down South Park. Love's will also be the location
for meet and greet Friday and the After Party Sat. Night.
1/8 mile course will be set up with a horn start.
2 classes as before but different, 3 seats and more in the first class (12pm to 2pm),
and 2 seats or less in second class(2pm to 4pm). NO SPEED LIMITS or HP LIMITS.

i like the outboards as much as anyone, but last year the outboards were the last ones standing but only because the faster couple jet boats couldnt figure out which outboards were actually still left to run and and who was out. year before the fastest outboard wasnt even close, and im not a fortune teller but pretty sure that will be the case again this year. so has anyone heard if green machine or guys from north and east texas are gonna show or not??????????????????????????
