Sounds like there will be alot of really fast jetboats and v-drives too . I wouldn't be suprised if it isnt won by a whacker this year .

huh,  heard the same thing,  not to mention a few jets came close to getting sunk,  do to the wacker guys deadheading along the beach


some of you may not know what deadheading is,    it's when your 1/4th throttle and creating the biggest wake possible

It was not just the whacker guy jets did it to and some lookie lookers in their boat not even running, the whaker guys had the same complaint.  I think they have a plan to avoid some of that.  This is always some clown that does not listen.  We had a drivers meeting at Tawakoni and I was surprised how may did not follow the instructions.  That diffidently was not the sponsors fault, just some people are idiots.

I didnt go last year , but from what I heard it was a mess . I heard that there was no way they could tell who won or not because they were not even eliminating the losers , and everyone was running everyone . So , who knows who won last year ?

That exactly what happened! I was there and one of them running!

That was Keith Tally, he was swamped before he even started, he drove through a rain storm and couls not start the boat.  That was a shame because I think the would have been the quickest there.

There was a red boat jet that took slow ride, not taking anything away from him that boat he has will move!  There was a whacker that never lost.

dIf they set it up as a regular elimination type deal then it should be easy to know who won , but I heard that wasn't the case last time . I am not sure if the losers just kept getting in line to run or if it was because of whoever was running the show , but there is no way to tell who wins when you never eliminate losers .

No , you just gotta get out of the way and let the other competitors run . You can cruise the river all day long if thats what you want to do , just no more getting in line to race .

Alot of people go a long way to show up at all the national drag car events too , but when they lose they are out . If it is going to be a real race event you have to run it like one . Maybe they should setup a little area for the losers to go play so the people who are still in it can get down to buisness without being held up by every one else .
