Randall I know its along ways away. Just putting this out there but my brother that's all he does all day is tig welds and fabs stuff and build race car chassies.  Not sure what he will charge u but call me and I can give u his number.  If ur going to joe pool he will be there in his boat so u can talk to him.

we are gonna try and make pool, but we won't have a boat. i am having surgery on wednesday and won't be able to get in the water for atleast a month, maybe longer.

The way your boat left on the spray, I'd say you got most of them covered. They will be coming after you on the big end though!

I went last year. It was cool except for the jets crossing a sand bar to get out in the river. Kind of hurt the pump situation. It would be easy enough to paddle from the ramp to the river. I don't know how it is down there this year with the drought and all. It was cool all in all. Those whackers will flat move out. And some of them look like they are half out of control. crazy.gif

A couple of us went, but we didn't boat. Watching is fun! I'm not sure who is going other than KG. He has a fast whacker boat also!

They have not set a date yet.  It will be in Jan.  This will be set up for a 1/8 run.  There will be two classes under 90 and over.  There will be a barge starter with a horn and rolling starts.  Quick boats will have an advantage over fast boats the way it is set up.  This is a run what ya brung type deal.  Patch is right there will be some unreal whackers there (yes they spray also), actually the way it is set up they have the advantage.  There will be some jets that will surprise them for sure.  It is fun to watch or run.  When they post the date I will post on here.

They have a much quicker hole shot than a jet.  Trust me these are not your everyday whackers.  They are light weight ( half the weight of your winger) with a lot of hp.
