Can't hurt. I pieced together a split bowl conversion for mine off of Ebay, but I have a Berkeley. I know nothing on your pump other than parts are not plentiful, but a conversion kit will let Berk parts work.

I'm not sure if there is a droop for a WJ.  While the WJ is a mixed flow pump like a Berkeley, the nozzle is actually part of the bowl and the steering nozzele is really just that a steering nozzle.

More info here.  Looks like it depends on if that diverter you scored is an early or a late Jacuzzi WJ divereter.

The diverter will work either way.  Just may or may not be able to use a droop with it depending on if it is an early or late model diverter.
