weekend project

[Malibu Surfer]

Well on Thursday I had a big weekend plan of getting the Mandella floor all sanded down and flowcoated and start the rail system... Thursday night got a call from a guy who needed his old truck painted.
Well, $$ talks ( not much actually  crazy.gif  ) and I got to work Thursday night on the bed, rear fenders, tailgate, etc...
Sunday swapped out the rear parts for the cab and hood.
Here is the cab out of my shop yesterday a.m with no cutting or buffing. Just as I left it the night before and laying on 3 coats of single stage urethane... I don't care to spray single stage, but hey, in this economy I'll shoot mud thru my gun if I can make some coin  :smile16:
Hopefully I can get moved out to TX and get some projects done down there for some folks!!!

Yeah, when posting that, I thought it might not sound right, but kinda was quoting the movie " field of dreams" - " if you build it, they will come"... Some folks just have dirty minds.  :smile30:
Still have the teardrop trailer in frame stage, but since wife is pregnant, everything is kinda slowing down some. Hopefully have it done by end of summer, but boat is #1. !!!!

Sounds like my schedule and I keep adding projects to it that seem to take precedence over my personal projects, but it takes money to have toys and projects and money to pay the bills.

Every time I get situated to start on my own stuff, I get a call or someone stops by wanting me to do something for them on a project... Of course in this economy I drop what I'm doing to make a few bucks!!!
And to top it off I'm starting a business this summer ( not car or boat related ) so that will take lots of my time and $$$....
