It just needs adjusting.  :smile15: You don't need to grind any thing yet.

JBP installed this for you correct? I would send him the pictures of the diverter down and up as you posted here and see what he has to say about it. I truly could be upside down.

Seriously, in the second set of pictures, it looks to be pretty close to as high as its going to go. The cable may be able to be adjusted to take it up the rest of the way, but those arms are going to hit & limit the up-travel. Only way around that is remove some material, not sure how he feels about that.

Yeah JBP installed it. Randall came by today and looks like we will be grinding it. Its just weird that this diverter looks different then everyone elses and throwing a week rooster, just my kinda luck thou. Dman, did you just grind off a little on the sides or take some off the top as well?

Pretty tuff to put a Place diverter in but one way and if the adjustments correct as they appear to be (full up and down travel) thats it !  The jet in this boat is the original Sanger "drop thru intake" and the jet its self is in at 4* to the keel The only way this boats going to see more roost (assuming the diverters adjusted correctly) is for Corey to swap out for a split bowl and some wedges or a droop . (part of the issue may be that Sanger elected to set these jets about 3 inches furthe forward than evryone else in that "day", supect tjhis was because of the "Pantera style bottom and possibly some porpousing issues ? Tom
PS like tayloman said ,a little "grinding may yield a little more roost a smidge of ride plate adjustment (up ) might help too !

you don't owe me anything, you took up some of my free time and i hope everything works out for ya, don't forget to get the 80 90w oil for the bowl, two new plugs, and the parts for the inlet valve :smile15:

I'm staying busy tomorrow. I got the oil and grease from Walmart tonight. I'm going to lowes tomorrow to get everything for the inlet valve and plugs. I also got some heavily treated 3/4 plywood, marine carpet, and countersink screws to make some fender bumpers. I realized tonight that I only have wood clue, do I really need the spray adhesive for putting the carpet on. Or none of the above and just tac it on?

your not joking! I try and hide mine in pics and those are what your suppose to be showing off! I've been keeping my eye out on eBay and craigs along with a scoop but haven't found anything I like that is affordable right now for me. May have to wait till the off season.

Hey Randall we can run them tomorrow or Friday if ya want? The bayou and pine tree lodge will prob be quiet thou but good for some test runs. Friday I'm planning on running it for sure but if tomorrow works better, I'm game for that too.
