It is with heavy heart and sadness that we have lost another old timer THB member. Some of the old timers here on THB may remember Norman Cox. Norman use to make the trip to Jetfest and Running the rivers in Del Rio many years ago. Some of you may remember Norm use to take pics at Jetfest many years ago. He also was the one  that owned that yellow with wood grain deck Taylor jetboat. He would show up in that one of a kind Taylor and everyone was drawn to it for its uniqueness. Steve (Borderlinecrazy) and myself have kept in contact with Norman over the years. He would pass thru town and stop for coffee. Norman has been battling cancer for many years and at one time thought he had it beat, Norman was taking Chemo treatments which he use to tell me was kicking his butt . I just talked to Norman just a week or two ago. He had been in a bad car wreck about a month or so ago and the Doctors had him housebound. He was one to never stop and slow down. He would run those hotshots of oil equipment all over Texas. I knyow he always talked about how many Turkeys he had to serve for Thanksgiving. He had many many great grandkids. I would ask that if some of you have some old pics of Norman or that Taylor jetboat post up a pic. Norman will be missed and prayers go out to his family.

I am very sorry to hear about Noirman, he was a very nice guy and always fun to be around.
There are a couple of great pictures of him on the Taylor website under members rides.
I just do not know how to get them to this site.

Norman was a good friend, he taught mr a lot about photography. Had some great times with him over the years. So sad he is gone. I have been digging through tonns of photos, still looking for more. :smile18:

Never got to meet him either. However, prayers go out to his family for comfort and understanding in this difficult time.

Cookie, sorry to hear about Norman, prayers sent to his family, you and him were some of the first people we meet when we started going to hotboat events. We always enjoyed both of yalls company.
The first event we went to was in Lake Amistad. We went way up the river with norman and his wife and my brand new holley blue took a dump.He was more than willing to help us out.He pulled us to a ramp and then gave me a ride in his boat to go pick up my vehicle. He was always super nice to us and always made sure we got a disk with all the pictures he took even if had to send them to us.
I have some some pics of him and his boat.I can't figure out how to post the clickable thumbs so i'll just post some small pics and the links to the larger pic.Check out the first one it will have Normans, yours and my old tx-19 in it.

Age and cancer are cruel....I don't like reading this thread at all. He seemed like a good guy and made a great  impression on the group.

RIP
