i bought a v blocker loader i was told they will ad lift great thats what i need! lol it deffinatly adds a ton of lift i couldent really tell if the boat was any faster but i did have the boat loaded down with fuel a 260lb friend his 130lb gf a FULL cooler i brould a tool box gallon of oil ect ect ect way heaver than i have had the boat before and it ran 65 on the gps in a cloppy lake the same as it did with just me and a half load of fuel a gps on glass at the river so i would think it helped the top end

BUT if u just stand on it from a dig it will just cavitate is that normal for a v-blocker? will a shoe and ride plate help that problem?

thanks dj

depends on if it's a fully open, semi-open, or fully closed version, yes, they do help lift, but the closed versions will cav a lil' bit from dead stop. You can open it up, taking a small amount at a time until you get a setup that is happy with your boat.

im pretty sure it would probly be considerd a fully closed the v is like 10 inches long... i mean it dont cav really badi can deal with it....a shoe probly wouldent help a lot other than the fact the ride plate would help keep the boat out of the water and let me open the loader upa bit rite
