The ferry here is a jet with blue underwater lights.  I´ll try to get a pic tonight with my buddies camera.  Going to rent a golf cart now.  Hope we don´t flip like the guys we saw last night.  LOL.  We saw them clip a curb going a little too fast.  Everyone was fine I guess.  They flipped it back over and drove off.

I just want to do a side by side comparison and post it up all over the place. I got the other ones that are similar in power and price, the Seablaze 3 LED's. I was looking all over and there are claims that comparison pics exist from a guy that tried like 5 different brands mounted to a board in his pool including the ones you and I both have, but couldn't find it anywhere. Price vs. performance wise, we got only two with great light output in the $200 range. The best two out there for the money.

Plus, if we're gonna sport our boats with the other jets on Hubbard for the Thursday night concerts, the only way we can outshine the blown chrome engine boats is with kick a$$ lighting and a banging stereo.

I'll be putting TWO pioneer subs in mine, both rated to get down to 20hz.

Heck ya man!!! You'll get to see my lights close up tonight at the club meeting...I'll have my boat with me as I'm taking her home tonight....so we can leave straight from the house on Saturday morning for Lake Ray Hubbard.

We did not make it down to the beach lst night to get a pic but I found this one on their web site.

That's a pretty big jet boat. I looks like an Incat Fast Ferry, similar to the one that goes from La Cieba to Roatan in Honduras. It's a big ole catamaran jet called the Galaxy Wave. It makes the ride that takes 2 1/2 hours in the normal ferry in less than an hour.

Here's a graphic of one, and it DEFINITELY has diverters on it!!

I'll have to look around, but somewhere I have a pic af Maria and I standing on the back of the boat ripping across the Carribean sea with the dual roosts shooting out the back.

EDIT. That didn't take long.... Found the pics from that vacation.

I present, that Galaxy Wave catamaran jet boat... No V-drive here baby!!

Wow, nice pictures James.....that's one thing I haven't done since 2006 is take a real vacation on the beach somewhere.....I didn't realze it's been that long.

I need some blue salt water, warm breezes, warm sunshine, palm frond thatched roof covered cabanas and cold beers...... ahhhhhh.

Several years ago Angie and I rode on the Condor Rapide. http://www.condorferries.co.uk/Onboard/Fleet.html
Freaking unbelievable... thing had twin engines, the Nozels were 6ft in diamater.
Loaded up with 700 passengers and 175 cars trucks and busses the thing still runs about 45mph.
it only has about 38,000 hp. how would you like to have that in your Jet Boat?
We ended up one night sitting in a bar with an engineer who worked on the ship, I can't remember how much fuel he said the thing used each day but I recall it being in the 100's of thousands of gallons each day. Another interesting fact was each cylinder had it's own head that could be removed while the engine was running if it needed to be worked on.

Well, finally got the two boats in the water next to each other at night. I think for brightness they are pretty close to the same. The color is different though. Cliffs are a deeper navy blue while mine are more aqua blue. Mine are also closer together so the two light beams get to intertwine and raise the intensity a little. They DO light up the roosts at night when it's totally dark enough to see the water from the pump to the lake. Way cool....

The only two jets in Texas with them on!! Of course when we lit our lights, all the wakeboard boat homo's had to light theirs up too. Lol

i really dig the lighting!

At the Rockwall Harbor there are a LOT of lookers that come walking out onto the floating docks where the slips are. They expect to see all this LED lighting on a wake boats, and they all look the same. Wake tower, blue lights in the speakers, none of the them stand out. I heard a few people last night see ours and say "Oh wow, jet boats!!". Makes it all worth it.

Okay, i'm sold now.  i like that look!  not too much, just enough.  not gawdawful like wake boats.    Might have to try those out on my Taylor SC.  Except i am wondering how they would work under the fiberglass pump cover.  think.gif

I already have rope lighting inside under the gunnels as backlighting and under bow rope lighting.  Gonna have to try this out!  :smile16:
