It's that time again here in Granbury for the annual Thomas Meyers Toys for Tots show. Thomas is a local business owner and dragracer that puts on this toy drive here in the Granbury area. he show is this Saturday from 10-2 behind the Whatburger off of hwy 377 here in Granbury. I knwo it has been a tuff year and just me the best in those who can help out come out to support this great cause. I know in the past few years we have had amost as many boats as cars show up for the show. So with that said if you want ot come out to show your boat,car,bike, or even lawnmowers bring it. The only thing that  is asked is if you bring a unwrapped toys, bikes or even money(I think they accept donations) to help those kids here in Hood county have a Happy Christmas. I know Billy, Rocky, Snowman(Garry) and a few others here from Granbury support Thomas every year at this event. So hope to see lot's of boats this year. Any question you can call me at 817-713-0153. You know guys since there are so many of you guys over in the Lavon area you should look at some of the car shows in the area. I know we have D&D rods here in Fort Worth and I go to there shows. Sometimes people like to look at something different than street rods. I enter my boat in what they call the special interest group. I have competed against firetrucks, jeeps, go-karts and lawnmowers. I have won trophies in my group. It is interesting to talk to people about your boat and of course the site. Something to think about over the winter months. Plus most of the time the entry fees are low and it all goes to goos cause. You guys know or see cars shows in your area just stop and talk to the host of the show and find out if they would like to have some boats at one of their shows.

I will try and make it . I am taking my RV to Dallas Saturday morning and not sure what time I will get back . If I can , I might drop the Boat or Camaro off early and then come back later when we get back from Dallas.

You know you can bring the boat by and we will watch it. You know we will be ther at 9 to 9:30. It is over at 2 and we will watch it. I will also bring the remote oil filter to you Sat. Bring the boat, we are trying to get more than we had last year. I think Neil is coming down.

I've been doing this with Slick for about 17 years and this was the biggest turnout ever, especially considering the conflicting date with the LENMAR show. Was good to see everyone.

What a beautiful day for this event . I was unable to take the car or boat , but did manage to get down to see a few people before the event was over . Thomas alway puts on a good event for the Toys for Tots in Granbury . Way to go Thomas !!!!
