Spent the afternoon at the Texas Parks and Wildlife center trying to get the Glastron CVX registered in my name as it came from Arkansas. We went round and around on a couple of issues but finally got everthing squared up except item " I " of form PWD143 asks for motor and outdrive serial number and horsepower. I have found a Berkley tag that has a model and serial number for the outdrve but can't seem to come up with anything on the engine as far as a serial number or anything. TP &W were very adamant that I furnish this information but I don't have a clue as to what to put down. Have any of you went through this with you engine and jet drive combination? Any help appreciated.

Gary
P.S. I have photos of the boat but can't figure out how to post. If someone that knows how will shoot me an e-mail at gem427@aol.com I will forward some to post.

For instance, next to the bellhousing on top of the block is the gm block#...give them this number, it is easy for them to verify by a quick look, if they want.
I think the 69 427 block # is 3955270 if I'm not mistaken, just copy what you have and give it to them. 320 was the average hp rating for jet boats.

Buying used old boats a lot of times there are no engines or pumps,,simply write in the blank (NONE) and mail it in..  I have done this several times and it works.

Hey Gary, Just looked at the title to my CVX, I have no idea where that number comes from, but since my block is on the engine stand I'll look for it tomorrow and post up where on the block it is. If you want to post up some pics I can come by Sunday and check it out and snap a few digi photos. I'd like to see it anyhoo..

James......thanks for the hlep. Look at my post under "new cvx in town" to see my latest woes. seems the serial number letters are off a little even though the numbers match so it's off to TP & W for a boat inspection. My cell number is 214-728-2706. give me a call Sunday and we will run up to where it's stored. It's on the way to East Fork in a little strip center thqt a friend owns right behind " Wade's Customs" in Wylie on Paul Wilson Road
