Copied from Thomas Meyers Facebook page "Hey I just wanted to let everyone know that my 21st annual Thomas Myers Racing For Kids Toy Drive and Car show is this Saturday from 10:00AM till 2:00PM if you have a car or truck a bike or whatever come out and support the cause and enjoy the spirit of Christmas. The event will be at Classic Chevrolet in Granbury Tx. I will be there with the 67 Camaro or Maybe the 68 Truck , not sure witch one will make it this year , maybe both .. This is a great event and Thomas normally has some pretty nice rides show up for this.. Kenny it is normally a good event .. Thomas normally has a pretty fast race car . Not sure if it is a Pro Mod car or not , but it is fast .. He has not raced the last couple of years , but he has some buddies that should be there with the cars ..You never know what will show up at this event .. He normally collects a lot of Toys for the Kid and that is what it is all about .. I try and attend every year with the Car , Truck or the Boat if I can .. It not about who has the prettiest car there , it about getting together and collecting Toys .. This year is looks like the weather is going to cooperate with us , last year was one cold S.O.B .

I hear ya, nice to just hang out & check out other people's rides that you may not ordinarily see on the street with the added benefit of helping a worthy cause. One of these days I'll get my ol' shitbox running & can attend some events like that. :grin: Hope that weather holds out for ya.
