Nothing like that , just don't see how he can say this boat is a hodge podge . If you saw the boat when he got it and saw it again after he got done with it , you would understand how much time and effort went into the boat .

lol aw bullshit, man lol... put it this way, Randall's boat runs great now, but he could probably gain 10-15 mph instantly if he could get the dead weight of you off his nutz long enough to make a pass. lol!

Far as the boat is concerned, I think the color combination is just throwing people off. It definitely wasn't thrown together though & it ran real well when Randall had it.

That boat has some serious run time, I was shocked when Randall sold it! Well maybe not too shocked, he sells all his boats! think.gif

That explains a lot now why Shannon is defending this pile. He's giving Randall a reach around.. LOLOL

that isnt how i sold the boat. my pump was fresh, and everything was blue anodized, when i had it, the boat was basically new, i had the stringers replaced along with the rest of the wood in the boat, then i had it gel coated inside, also brand new interior, when i had it it was never parked outside. the guy i got it from left it in a apartment complex baking in the sun. boat was originally built south of dallas should say IAS for vin which stood for impact auto sales, think they built two or three tx-19's i have only seen one other and it was forsale in north texas last year. it also has a mersch intake in the boat which is a low profile intake. i had a blower motor in it for a short time ran pretty good. as far as it being put together with junk parts i have seen ya'll boats and they resemble something out of dukes of hazzard.

Well Randall rigged and ran this boat...doesn't make it worth any more or any less...i do remember it has a lowpro intake in it...i dont think buffing it is gonna do any good...it needs paint. But for a solid hull, pump, trailer, and engine its well worth the asking price...just not to me. :smile30: Some one needs to buy this one and with some $$$$ and hard work it will be as bad as you want it to be!!! :smile17:

i tried buffing it when i had it, it looked okay for about a month or two then i had to do it again, it is a all gelcoat boat to bad the previous owner just let it sit outside. none of my boats have ever been fast, but they get me to the water, and i can run around the whole lake on pump gas.

Would make a nice one HELL JAMES you should have jumped on this one you would be ahead of the game.    Randal pretty crazy me and you were just talking about this boat when  you came up in JULY.  Well worth what they are asking and with cash they prob would take less.

I've seen your stuff Randall and it's always nice, but in three years a lot changes.  Like the bowl for sure. Looks blue when you had it. It's white now. So you have to wonder what else has changed in that amount of time.

oh you are right that isnt the bowl i had on it, i see the nilidon pan is still there, the owner said he is taking it to broken bow this weekend with a forsale sign on it, and if it doesnt sell he will bring it to tawakoni

I now own this boat. Boat only made it about 300 yard out of no wake zone and spit out 2 pistons. Was told buy owner was pump gas but had 12.5 pistons in it :smile15: Thats life and boat is now apart for rebuild and full once over.

Really sorry to hear about the motor . But at least you got a really nice boat . I have seen it in person lots of times when it was still Randall's boat , and it was nice . Be sure to go over everything really well while you have it apart , it sounds like the owner didn't know much . Where are you from ? Hopefully we will meet on the water somewhere , I would love to see the boat again and get a chance to meet you .

Maybe, but his post count is at 2, and they are both in this thread.

Now you're starting to sound like CJ there James.....

Just saying, with a post count of 2 it looks like a new guy that just bought a boat that was for sale two weeks ago. Plus, CJ would have told him how to fix it. LOL

I've been on the Grand Prix boards for ten years, my post count there is maybe 20.... Same with LS1 tech but not nearly as long. I'm still the new guy on both of those. I haven't even logged on to the Grand Prix forums in probably 5 years.
