that would be a kool boat restored, but what would it take to restore, and it really needs to be updated to a new mercuiser, and a new bravo outdrive for that big ass boat.

Guys that get those usually put them back to all original. He'll get what he's asking eventually. Just has to find the right buyer.

I agree it will be cool as hell once it is restored.  It's just a little to pricy for me for the condition it is in.

If I could get 10k for my Glastron once it's done I'd would do it. Try to get him down a G first. Then go with an EFI LS1, a Bravo out drive, try to score the crap for A/C, slide the gas tank over and tuck a mini fridge under the bow on the passengers side. Oh yeah, be shooting A LOT of flake again too.

NAAAAaaaaa, I'm never getting rid of the CVX.

For that to be my third project., and I have considered buying that boat, I would need to locate the front seats.  They were unique to that model, because they swiveled on apestidal.  Talk about hard to find, spent a month looking and found nothing.  Of course I would only restore that boat and not butcher it with a bigger motor, bat man paint, or anything not factory correct.  I did get him down on the price but the nonavailability of parts was a deal killer for me.

Not a lot of boat builders installed an expensive set like an adjustable and swivelling seat.  Before you mentioned your boat had that seat setup in it, I was not aware of it being in any other boat.

I put pedestals like that in my Ambassador.  They still would not be original correct for a Scimitar though.

They also have them with fixed height and/or just swivel.

mine are not like that.mine is much more low profile, the whole assembly is maybe 8" tall max and it has no pipe for the pedistal, its two pieces of stamped plate with ball bearings between them  and teeth on one with a lever between your legs.then a slider assembly on top of that with a lever on the left side.

i have about 10 of those^^^ laying around from fishing boats.

I've seen those too.  Can't remember where though.

Here is another low profile mount. Still a little different.
