You ever herd of VVTECRACING. They have several 1/5 scale gasoline powered rc 4wd & 2wd trucks for under $1k. just don't know the quality of them other than what there ad says.

HPI makes the best Gasoline=powered 1/5 scale, so I've heard....but their only 2wd....

Ok, it seems that there are several companies offering 1/5 scale gas buggies and trucks.....king motor, hi spec, vv, rovan...thing is they all say they are "compatable" with hpi parts. That tells me they are copies of the original...hpi baja.

X2.  I love my Traxxas trucks but in my experience the HPI stuff is more forgiving.  My next one will be HPI.

That's about the same price, went ahead and did it this way so when it get's here I can break in the motor so it will be ready to go. Oh BTW I have a t-maxx with a os motor I want to sell now. The stable is getting to full.
