Like the title sez... :cool: Teleflex rack & pinion settering setup w/cable. Bought new fall of '08 from Jet Boat Performance, ran through through the end of the season in '09 & taken back out. No problems with it other than it doesn't work well in my boat. Cable measures 178" from where the cable goes into the rack to the opposite tip of the cable...

Have all the helm mounting hardware to go with it. $75 bux plus the ride.

Remember my steering cable thread, where I redid the rotary gearbox & all that? I put all that back in the boat, so this rack system I don't need...

Ya, the one I re-did, was a rotary set-up.. Gonna try & get a little more life out of it & when its time to replace, I'll either go back with another one, or if I switch over to a rack system I'll have to get a way longer cable so I can run it down the other side of the boat so it doesn't put the cable in a bind....

Post the length of the cable so peeps will know if it will work for them... just an idea...  scratch....  you did... my bad

Cable measures 178" from where the cable goes into the rack to the opposite tip of the cable...

I am glad you mentioned it though cuz I am not sure if that is where they get the measurement from or not. When I ordered it from Tom, he just asked how long my boat was (18') & then I got what he sent.

At any rate, that 178" equates to just shy of 15 feet if that helps anybody.
