UP DATE    PASS THE WORD !!

OK I posted some General Info last week but need to add some.  Wyatt owner of 429 is making a change on the tent camping.  He was going to put everyone on the Grass Hill BUT isnt now.  DUE to he is going to have all the spectators that dont want to get in the water on the grass area/edge of lake.  And he doesnt want all the spectators walking around peaples tents and all the boat guys and gal worrying about there stuff.  Also tent camping on the grass hill you have no shower or no bathrooms.  So with that said he is going to put all the folks tent camping down past the little cabins.  If you want power bring a generator cause there isnt any.  THere is only two spot with power and water for tents and they are taken.  They have showers/toilets with in 40 yards of the tent camping site.  When you get to park Friday or Sat just let them know you are tent camping and they will show you were. If you are wanting to RV or travel trailer camp on the grass hill also bring a generator most of the outlaw group that came set up camp last year on the grass hill.  Im sure they will again this year.  Also went out this past weekend and the boat ramp at 429 is still good to go.  But the spot that you have to cut threw between the two points is only about 4ft.  So you V drive and OB guys might want to put in at other ramp or paddle it threw that area and stay in the middle and dont cut it short to right or left headed out.  But they are calling for rain FRI and SAT  I just wanted to give everyone and FYI and some INFO they asked me to pass along.  If have any questions call 429 or Jasson 214 704 5507 or Bobby (motorhead)

What is the lake level?  Is there a beach?  Does anyone have current photos if there is a beach?
    :smile17:

Lake is 3' low. No beach this year just a concrete retaining wall that meets a couple inches of water.

This was taken last Sunday. This is where the beach was last year.
