Tawakoni Hot Boat Event.

Well I fell like I am in the middle of the feud between the Hatfields and the McCoys. I have numerous phone calls and Pms on this event. I guess with all I have seen over the years at HotBoat events that History does repeat itself. What this event last year was a one of the kind. Now it has tore up friendships and groups of boaters. Seen it too many times. It seems that everytime things go good they seem to self destruct. I have heard it from both sides of the story and it his hard to choose who is right or wrong. It seems the bigger the event the bigger the problems. I thought last years event was great. There was a marina that welcomed the event with limited public and set up for the boaters. I know that the money that events like this can bring into an area as well as what type image we set to the public. Look at how long Plowman's went on for. Look at the impact in dollars that was brought into the area. Wonder if they miss us now. I know that the last 2-3 years Rocky/Becky stood up and took charge of the event and I don't know how many times they got slapped in the face for not making a few people happy. I can't believe all the fighting has come down to tshirts or Logos. I really don't care if THB logo is on anything. I know that to advertise events this forum sure gets the word out in this part of the country. There only a few things I would ask is to conduct yourselves in a way that reflect on all boaters. If I say the words Hell's Angles or Banditos what comes to your mind? I guess it is almost like watching TV, if you don't like one channel you can always change it. I like to think that everyone that chooses to use this site would use it as I set it up to be, A Communication Site for people of a common interest. I like to think that people who use this forum are an asset and not a liability. I know that as sure as I post this I will get all kinds of negative replays. I would say if you don't like it here start your own website or change channels. It is times like this that I just want to pull the plug on the whole site. Hope you guys can mend things between yourselves. I hope everyone the best at the event. Texas is a big state with a lot of lakes, parks and marinas. We all have the freedom of choice, its your rights that are fought hard by a soldiers. Play safe and have fun. Bill"cookieman"

As for the pm's , phone calls, texts, etc i have recieved...i can only say this...Our entire Outlaw  group had a blast last year and i have become great friends with alot of the guys involved here. I won't chose sides...but i will say this ...and i think i speak for most of my Outlaw buds...WE WILL BE AT 429 marina...ready to rock in roll and have a blast with all that attend. I personally could care less who i buy my tshirt from...as i have a closet full of every flavor. Come on guys...GET OVER IT! Lets make some noise and some great memories...See you there. :smile17:

Thanks I only hope in the next 2 weeks that all that are at odds with each other will shake hands and work together to make this a great event. I think it can happen and I would hope that everyone plays safe. Let the light shine.

I would love to be there, but I will be in Hawaii. Don't think I won't be watching the site from Hawaii. Post plenty of pictures.
